MICROSPORT In-Line Skate Speedometer

Just replace one wheel and off you go!

The In-Line skate Speedometer generally consists of two components. One measuring wheel and a wristwatch display. The heart of the system is the skate computer which is integrated in the special MICROSPORT speedometer wheel. The computer continuously analyses your skating style. This means the computer recognizes whether the skate is in the air or on the ground and whether you use the skating technique or roll down a hill. This information is necessary to determine the speed and the distance of the body of the skater in the direction of move. in difference to cycling, where the wheel has ground contact all the time and you can calculate the distance covered simply by multiplying the number of turns with the wheels perimeter, the situation in inline skating is far more complex.

The MICROSPORT In-Line Skate Speedometers have solved the above problem. The accuracy and the handling were approved by the biggest German consumer research centre in spring 2003.

Due to the coded transmission all date can be recalled easily by the touch of a button on your wrist watch display. An expandable bracelet allows you to wear your speedometer over the recommended protectors.

A universal set of Spacers allows you to use the Speedometer with all common skates on the market.

MICROSPORT In-Line Skate Speedometers are available in 6 different sizes and wheel hardness:

  • 76mm/80A
  • 78mm/80A
  • 80mm/82A
  • 84mm/85A
  • 90mm/85A
  • 100mm/87A
